Master Thesis Award

The Society of Social Work Research annually awards a master thesis award to the author of a meritorious social work thesis in connection with the Social Work Research Days. The winner is selected from a shortlist of six candidates nominated by universities offering social work education.

Licentiate Research Award

For the first time, the Society of Social Work Research awarded the Licentiate Research Award during its 10th anniversary year in conjunction with the Social Work Research Days. The prize was awarded to an outstanding licentiate thesis in the field of specialised training in social work. The winner was chosen from among the three specialised fields of social work specialisation (rehabilitative social work, child and youth social work and social work on marginalisation issues). Soctoral Dissertation Award

For the first time in its history, the Society of Social Work Research awarded a Doctoral Dissertation Award to a meritorious doctoral thesis at the 2011 Social Work Research Days.
